Countdown to HOLY BATVENTION!

Next weekend (November 12 and 13), the NJ Comic Expo is holding its HOLY BATVENTION! event at the Teaneck Armory in Teaneck, NJ. The two day convention will include various vehicles used on the 1960's TV show such as the Batmobile, Batcopter, and Batcycle. There will be numerous guests including actresses who appeared on the Batman TV show starring Adam West. This is a great opportunity for classic film and TV fans to meet three of Batman and Robin's female foes. NJ Comic Expo website announced Lee Merriwether, Terry Moore, and Donna Loren will be at the convention. This in itself is very exciting to me as I have enjoyed the work of these three women in various films and TV shows I watched growing up!

The coolest event of the weekend has be the viewing of the 1966 film Batman starring Adam West and Burt Ward. Where will the movie be shown? The venue is the Landmark Loews Jersey Theatre -- my favorite place to see films! In addition, there will be a Q&A session with Lee Merriwether who played Catwoman in the film. This promises to be a special event. I plan on writing about my experiences so STAY TUNED! SAME BAT TIME, SAME BAT CHANNEL! (Sorry I could not resist!)
